Established in 1975, the Galiano Island Housing Society (GIHS) was created to provide housing on a non-profit basis at a reasonable cost for senior citizens in need of accommodation on Galiano Island. Currently GIHS only runs one housing complex named Page Drive.
You are welcome to apply for housing, but note that we are currently full and we cannot predict when we will have a vacancy or how long it will be before there is a unit available for you.

Please remember, if you have any large items to dispose of you will need to contact Galiano Garbage Gals directly. Their contact information can be found on the outside of the garbage room.
Each unit has a dedicated board member. They can contact these board members in the vent of any issues or if maintenance is needed on a unit. This information should be provided when you move in. If you need to contact the board, you can always use our email Pagedrivegaliano@gmail.com
For any small or minor maintenance issues, please contact Andy. If the issue is bigger then he can deal with he will contact the board on your behalf.
